    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Does the cat still read clearly from across the room?

    Yes. The scribble is dense enough that the standing shape, the ears and the raised head hold together from a few metres back. Up close you see the individual strokes and the loose tail loop. It's the kind of piece that changes slightly depending on where you stand in the room.

    Will it look too stark on a white wall?

    On a bright white wall the contrast is strong, which is usually the point. If you'd rather soften it, a chalky off-white, warm grey or pale greige wall gives the black line something gentler to sit against. Adding linen, wool or pale wood nearby also takes the edge off.

    Can I hang it with a second animal drawing?

    It pairs well with one quieter piece — a simple outline animal or a plain minimal drawing in the same black-and-white range. Avoid a second scribble drawing, as two tangles side by side compete and both lose clarity. Keep generous spacing between the two.
