    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

    Will the scribbled lines still look like a cat from across the room?
    Yes. From about two metres the tangle settles into a clear seated cat with pointed ears and a curled tail. Up close you see the individual pen lines instead. That double reading is the point, so give it a bit of viewing distance and keep the surrounding wall plain.

    Does it work in a room with no other black in it?
    It can, but it will stand out sharply. If your room is all warm wood and soft neutrals, add one or two small black touches nearby, a lamp base, a handle, a frame on another wall, so the print looks intentional rather than dropped in.

    What size should I go for above a sideboard?
    Aim for a piece roughly two thirds the width of the furniture below it. A medium portrait size suits most sideboards and consoles; go large only if the wall is tall and clear. Anything too small and the dense linework loses its detail.
