    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    What makes Fab frames so good?

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

    Does it still look like a cat from across the room?
    Yes. From about two to three metres the loops settle into a clear sitting cat, with the ears, whiskers and curling tail doing most of the work. Up close you see the tangle instead. Give it plain wall on both sides and avoid patterned wallpaper behind it, or the two sets of lines fight each other.

    Will it work in a room that already has a lot going on?
    It can, as long as the wall itself is calm. The drawing is busy in the middle and open at the edges, so it needs breathing room rather than a quiet room. Put it on a plain painted wall away from patterned curtains or shelves of books, and it will hold its own without adding noise.

    Is this too dark for a bedroom or nursery?
    It isn't dark overall — the background is mostly off-white — but it is high contrast and lively, so it reads as energetic rather than restful. It suits a hallway, study or living room better. If you do want it in a bedroom, hang it on a side wall rather than directly above the bed.
