    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

    Does it still look like a cat from across the room?
    Yes. The lines are dense around the head, chest and legs, so the shape of a sitting cat reads clearly from a few steps back. Up close it breaks into loose loops and marks. That shift is the point of the piece, and it works best at medium size on a plain wall.

    Will it clash with a colourful room?
    It won't clash on colour, since it's only black, grey and white. What it does need is calm around it. If your walls carry pattern or you already have several busy pictures nearby, the line work can start to look like clutter. On a plain painted wall with space either side it stays sharp.

    Is this suitable for a child's room?
    It can be, if you like a graphic look rather than a sweet one. The cat is friendly enough, but the drawing is scratchy and high contrast rather than soft and pastel. Older children who like drawing tend to enjoy it more than toddlers, and it suits a desk wall or above a low shelf.
