    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Can you actually tell it's a labrador?
    Yes, from a step or two back. The muzzle, drop ears, deep chest and thick tail all come through once the scribbles settle into shape. Up close it reads as pure line. That shift is part of the appeal, but it does mean you want it at eye level with space around it rather than tucked into a tight corner.

    Will it look messy on a small wall?
    It can if the wall is very narrow. The lines spread right to the edges of the composition, so squeezing it between a door frame and a shelf makes it read as a dark smudge. Give it roughly 60cm of clear wall or more and the shape holds together properly.

    Does it work in a room that already has colour?
    It does, as long as the pattern is kept low. Black and white sits happily against a green sofa, a mustard chair or a warm wood floor because there's no colour to clash. What it doesn't like is patterned wallpaper or busy fabric directly behind it, which breaks up the line.
