How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the dog clearly recognisable as a Vizsla?
Yes. The lines are loose, but the long straight muzzle, lifted head, deep chest and slim standing posture read as a Vizsla or similar gundog from normal viewing distance. Step in close and it dissolves into pure scribble, which is part of the appeal. If you want ear shape and coat colour spelled out, this is not that kind of drawing.
Will all that white space look empty on my wall?
It won't if you give it enough size. The white ground is what makes the black lines land, so go for a medium or larger format on a wide wall and hang it at eye level. On a narrow hallway stretch, a medium portrait size fills the space nicely with about a hand's width of clear wall on either side.
Can I pair it with a second dog drawing?
Yes, it pairs well. Hang two portrait drawings side by side with a small even gap, ideally in the same size and same frame colour so the linework does the talking. Keep the second piece equally simple — another line sketch or a plain monochrome animal study rather than anything colourful or highly detailed.
