How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is this print too cartoonish for a grown-up kitchen?
It's hand-drawn and textured rather than slick or cartoon-flat, so it reads as illustration rather than children's-book art. In a kitchen with painted timber, linen and a bit of brass, it sits closer to charming than babyish, and the muted sea blue keeps it calm.
Will the dusty sea-blue background clash with a pale blue wall?
Usually not — the background is a warmer, greyer blue than most paint blues, so it tends to read as a softer companion rather than a clash. If your wall is a strong cobalt or bright sky blue, hang it on a paler wall instead, or frame it in white to give it breathing room.
Does it work as a single print, or does it need a pair?
It holds a wall well on its own thanks to the central composition and quiet background. If you do want to pair it, choose something restrained — a small botanical, a lighthouse study or a quiet coastal scene — rather than another bold character that competes for the joke.
