    Om detta konstverk

Hallways go dim by mid afternoon, and most pictures give up with them. Not this one. The soft pink ground holds whatever light reaches it, so a stairwell with a single landing window still reads warm at five o'clock, and the navy sits darker and sharper as the day goes. Hang it on a painted wall, off-white or a dusty green, where the stairs turn. Dark stair treads and a plain runner give the pink something to lean on. Morning light does the opposite job. It lifts the pink almost to peach and the white spots catch, which is the version you see on the way out of the house. Keep it tall and alone on that wall. One picture, hung at eye level from the half landing, and the whole climb has somewhere to look. On fine-art paper the spots stay crisp behind the glazing.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the pink feel like a nursery colour in a hallway?

Not with this much navy against it. The pink here is a dusty plaster shade rather than a sweet one, and the dark figure covers more than half the picture, so the overall effect reads closer to a heritage paint scheme than a child's room. On an off-white or dusty green wall the pink looks warm and grown up. Keep soft pink accessories away from it and it stays that way.

How large does it need to be on a stair wall?

Go larger than instinct says. A stairwell is viewed from the bottom step, often three metres away, and the tall format relies on the figure reading as one shape from that distance. At around 50cm wide by 100cm tall the spots stay visible and the curls at the bottom still show. Smaller than that and it starts to look like a strip of pattern rather than a picture.

Does it work in a bathroom with white tiles?

Yes, and it does something useful there. White metro tile with grey grout tends to make a bathroom feel cold, and the pink ground warms the wall above it without fighting the tile. The navy ties in with black or dark grey fittings. Keep towels in navy and white stripes rather than turquoise, and skip shells or rope, which pull it towards a seaside theme it does not need.
