    'Too safe,' said nobody standing in front of cobalt blue. This is a food still life that behaves like a colour statement: bright red-orange tomatoes, green stems, and a hard-edged blue and cream table underneath. Hang it in a kitchen or dining room and the whole wall stops being background. It gives a plain white or off-white wall a reason to exist, and it flatters painted cabinetry in cream, sage or deep blue. Best above a sideboard, breakfast counter or a stretch of wall beside the window, at eye level where you actually stand and chop. Keep the wall around it clear, and avoid crowding it with other loud colour prints — one bold voice per wall is plenty.     How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    What makes Fab frames so good?

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Will the blue clash with cream or sage kitchen cabinets?

    No. The cobalt sits against a cream edge in the artwork itself, so it reads as a deliberate pairing rather than a clash. Cream, sage and soft white cabinets all give it enough breathing space. If your cabinets are already deep blue, hang it on a pale wall nearby instead of directly above them.

    Is it too bold for a small kitchen?

    Small kitchens usually handle it well, because there is rarely much competing colour on the walls. Choose a medium size, hang it at eye level on the clearest stretch of wall, and keep the surfaces below it tidy. In a very narrow galley, place it on the end wall so you see it from a distance.

    Does it work outside the kitchen?

    Yes. It suits dining rooms, breakfast corners and sunny living room walls where you want a shot of colour. It is less suited to bedrooms, since the strong red and blue keep the wall busy rather than restful. Home offices work if you want something energising in view.
