    Om detta konstverk

Hang it wider than feels sensible. At 120cm across, the grid stops reading as a pattern and starts reading as a window, and the whole wall behind the bed sits back. Smaller than 90cm it turns into a tile chart. The peach light in the centre needs room to spread. Go for the widest size the headboard allows, ideally a hand's width past it on each side. Grey-blue walls make the pink glow. White plaster keeps things quiet. Linen bedding in oatmeal or dusty pink underneath, nothing with a grid or stripe near it. In a living room, the same rule holds above a low sofa, with the sun landing a little off the centre of the seat. One lamp, one plant, done. Framed in white, the pale border reads like one more pane.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the pink and orange clash with a grey bedroom?

No, grey is where it works best. The largest share of the picture is a slate blue-grey, so a grey wall picks that up and the pink and orange sit inside it as the warm part. Mid grey or blue-grey paint suits it most. A very warm greige with yellow in it dulls the pink, so lean cool with the wall colour.

How wide should I go above a king-size bed?

A UK king headboard is about 150cm wide, so aim for an artwork between 100 and 130cm across, hung 15 to 25cm above the headboard. That puts the sun roughly over the middle of the mattress. Going narrower than 90cm leaves the grid looking cramped and the sun small, and the wall around it starts to feel empty.

Does the grid make it feel busy from across the room?

From two or three metres the grid softens into a window effect and the eye goes to the sun and the horizon. Up close you see the individual squares and brush marks. It sits somewhere between a calm landscape and a pattern, so keep the wall around it clear and avoid striped or checked bedding under it, and it reads as calm.
