    Om detta konstverk

October is when hallways go dark by five. This is the piece to fix that. Hang it on the narrow wall at the foot of the stairs and the rust red keeps its warmth long after the daylight has given up on it. Chalky off-white walls suit it best, the kind with a bit of texture in the plaster. Keep the floor honest underneath, terracotta tile or bare boards, and let a single boot rack do the furnishing. Coats on the hooks in October land in the same brick tones for free. The height matters more than the width. Set the top edge just above head height and the wall feels taller than it is. Nothing else on that stretch. By spring you will not want to move it. On paper, a slim black frame sharpens the lines further.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the rust red clash with a warm-toned hallway?

It depends on how warm. Against cream, off-white, stone or pale grey the red stands clear and the black line does the rest. On a wall already painted terracotta, brick or plaster pink the body of the bull starts to blend into the paint and you lose the shape. If your hall is warm, hang it on the palest wall you have, or on the one that catches the least direct sun.

How high should I hang it in a stairwell?

Higher than you think, and then a little lower. On a stair landing, set the centre at eye level for someone standing on the landing itself, not on the stairs below. The tall shape then reads in full as you climb towards it. Leave at least a metre of clear wall either side so the horns have room. One piece on that wall, nothing else.

Does it work in a kitchen with wood units?

Yes, as long as the wood is pale or mid-toned. Oak, ash and birch units let the rust red sit forward and the black line stays crisp. Dark walnut or stained units flatten the contrast and the whole thing goes muddy. Put it on the slim wall at the end of a run of units, away from the hob, where steam and splashes will not reach it.
