    Om detta konstverk

October is when this one earns its wall. Hang it above the bed at the start of the month and the room gets its Halloween without a single plastic pumpkin. The cream stays soft against a chalky white wall, and the black ground does the rest. Come November, leave it up. Painted thick as they are, the ghosts read as texture from across a room, so by January they pass for folk art rather than party decoration. Linen bedding underneath, one dark wood bedside table, nothing orange anywhere near it. Width matters here. At a metre across it fills the space above a double headboard and the three shapes line up with the pillows. Smaller than that and it becomes a joke on a shelf. On fine-art paper in a black frame the thick paint marks print crisp and the cream stays matt.

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will it look out of place once Halloween is over?

Less than you would think. The black and cream palette is the same one most bedrooms and kitchens already run on, so the print sits as a graphic piece for most of the year. The seasonal reading comes and goes with what is around it. Take the pumpkins off the table in November and it settles back into being a textured, slightly odd painting of three shapes.

How wide should I go above a double bed?

Aim for roughly the width of the headboard or a little under. For a standard double that means around 100 to 120cm across. The 2:1 format means the piece stays short, so it fits under a low ceiling without crowding the pillows. Leave about 15cm between the headboard and the bottom edge, and keep the bedside tables clear so nothing competes at the sides.

Does the black ground make a room feel darker?

On a white wall with reasonable daylight, no. The cream figures take up a third of the surface and bounce light back, and the dark ground reads as a sharp block rather than a hole. In a small north-facing bedroom with one window it can weigh the wall down, so put it opposite the window or choose a room with more light.
