    'Too safe,' said nobody standing in front of bright red. Two cows look straight out at you in flat, confident blocks of colour — red, blue, soft pink and off-white against a pale sky blue. Hang it and a plain kitchen or hallway stops being plain. The colour does the work, so you don't need new paint or new furniture. It sits well above a sideboard, on a kitchen feature wall, or at the end of a hallway where you catch it on the way past. Pair it with painted cabinets, pale wood, cream and red stoneware, and simple black fittings. Don't crowd it with other strong-colour art or fussy patterned wallpaper — it wants a clear wall and a bit of breathing room.     How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    What makes Fab frames so good?

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Will the bright red work if my kitchen is mostly off-white and wood?

    Yes, that's the easiest home for it. Off-white walls and pale or mid-tone wood let the red and blue do all the talking. Pick up the red once more somewhere low down — a stool, a tea towel, a stack of bowls — so it looks deliberate rather than accidental. No other strong colour needed.

    Is it too childish for a dining room or living room?

    The painting is loose and grown-up in its handling, so it reads as modern illustration rather than nursery decor. In a dining room it works best at a larger size on a plain wall, with simple furniture underneath. Keep the rest of the room calm and it feels like a considered choice, not a novelty.

    How big should I go so the two faces still read properly?

    Medium is the safe middle for a kitchen or hallway wall. If you're filling a wall above a sideboard or sofa, go large — the cows are cropped close, so more size makes the composition feel intentional rather than squeezed. Below A3 the second cow starts to lose its detail from across a room.
