    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    What makes Fab frames so good?

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

    Will the duck look too small on the wall?

    It reads small on purpose — the blue around it is part of the picture. At medium size and hung at eye level the duck stays clearly readable from a couple of metres away. Going very large mainly enlarges the blue field, which suits big open walls but loses some of the quiet focus in a small room.

    Does the blue work in a room with warm wood?

    Yes, with pale and mid-toned woods like ash, birch or light oak furniture, where the cool blue looks fresh rather than cold. It's harder alongside heavy red-toned woods and warm terracotta or mustard walls. If your room leans warm, keep the surrounding wall off-white and let the print sit on its own.

    Is it too plain to be a focal point?

    It works as a focal point because there's nothing competing in it. One bright shape in a large field of blue pulls the eye straight to it, which is why it suits walls that currently feel unfinished. Give it clear space either side and don't hang busy pieces next to it.
