How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the yellow of the duck very bright, or does it stay soft?

It's the warmest thing in the picture but still a watercolour yellow — buttery rather than neon. It reads as a gentle pop against the pale blues and creams, not a primary colour shout. It works well in nurseries that lean soft and neutral.

Will it suit a child past the baby stage?

Most parents get a few years out of it comfortably — through toddler bath-time and into early childhood. It's soft enough that it doesn't feel babyish, but the bathtub theme means it usually moves on around school age rather than staying for a teen bedroom.

Does it work in a bathroom with steam and humidity?

An unframed paper print isn't ideal directly above a hot bath. A framed version with acrylic glazing handles a family bathroom fine, and the canvas version is more forgiving too. Hang on a wall opposite the bath rather than directly above it for best results.
