How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Does this print only work at Christmas?

No. The baubles are a soft seasonal cue, but the bird, pine, berries and warm brown palette read as a winter botanical rather than a strict Christmas piece. Most rooms keep it up year-round, especially in lamplit living rooms, hallways and dining rooms with timber, linen and earthy tones.

Will the near-black background look heavy on a small wall?

It actually helps. On a small wall the dark background draws the eye in tight on the pheasant, so the piece feels considered rather than crowded. Hang it at eye level above a console or sideboard and give it a little breathing space on either side.

What wall colour suits it best?

It looks strongest on warm off-white, chalky deep green or warm clay walls. The dark background plus deep red and warm brown plumage are happiest against painted walls with a bit of depth. Very cool blue-grey walls can fight the warm tones, so lean warm where you can.
