How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the sky blue look too cold on a north-facing wall?

It reads warmer than a pure cool blue because the cream walls, soft pink terrace and mustard pot in the print balance it out. On a north-facing wall it still feels sunlit rather than icy, especially next to pale oak or rattan.

Is the composition centred enough to hang on its own?

Yes. The house sits to the left, the staircase and trees move the eye right, and the pool anchors the bottom — so it reads as a balanced single piece rather than half a pair. It holds a wall well above a sideboard or console.

Does it work in a kids' room without feeling babyish?

It does. The subject is a real house rather than a cartoon, and the colours are clean and grown-up. It suits a child's room now and still works there in ten years, which is rare for kid-friendly art.
