How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

How prominent is the Positano text on the print?

Very prominent. The word POSITANO sits in chunky dark lettering across the lower third, with ITALY underneath in smaller caps. If you want a quiet, wordless landscape, this isn't it. If you want the place name to be part of the design, it's pitched at exactly the right size.

Will the soft pink waves clash with a warm room?

The pink is dusty and muted rather than bright, so it sits comfortably with warm creams, terracotta, oak and brass. It won't fight a warm room. It would feel less at home against cool greys or stark white walls.

Does it work on its own, or only as part of a travel set?

It holds a wall on its own thanks to the strong sun shape and bold type. It also slots neatly into a small set of Italian or Mediterranean travel prints if you want to build a holiday-themed wall over time.
