About This Art

Hang this where the warm afternoon light hits and the deep red sharpens. The colour behind the dog is the whole point: it warms up as the day goes on and turns a plain dining wall into something with a bit of wit. The cream greyhound and its four little cocktail glasses do the rest, calm and deadpan rather than loud. Best above a sideboard, a drinks cabinet or a run of dining chairs, where people are already standing about with a glass in hand. Pair it with dark wood, velvet seating, brass and smoked glass. Don't crowd it with other strong colour blocks or busy patterned art — this one wants a bit of quiet wall around it. Printed on premium fine-art paper, unframed or framed in real wood.

Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

Made responsiblyFSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the deep red background look too dark in a small dining room?

It reads warmer than it looks on screen. In a small room the red actually helps, because it makes the walls feel closer and cosier rather than cold. Keep the surrounding wall light or a soft clay tone and give the piece space on either side, and the colour will feel deliberate instead of heavy.

Does it still work if I don't have a bar cart or drinks cabinet?

Yes. The cocktail glasses are a small detail rather than the whole story, so it hangs happily above a sideboard, in a hallway or over a sofa. If you'd rather play down the drinks angle, keep the props around it plain and let the dog shape do the work.

Can I hang it in a room that already has other animal art?

It can, as long as the others are quieter. This one is the loudest thing on a wall, so pair it with simple line drawings or muted botanicals rather than another strong colour block. Two or three pieces maximum, with this one at the centre and largest in the group.
