Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

It has texture. The teal ground carries a worn, inky quality with some lighter and darker patches, so it reads as something with history rather than a clean, flat colour. That texture is part of why the piece doesn't look like wallpaper.

It can, if you go too large. In a small bedroom or narrow hallway, stick to the smaller size and give it a clear wall on its own. The dark teal pulls focus, so it needs space around it rather than competing patterns nearby.

Both work. Above a bed, the vertical composition and tall cranes feel calm and grounding — go large and hang it centred above the headboard. Above a sideboard or console, leave a bit more wall above so the wings have headroom.
