How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the mustard yellow look too strong in a small room?
It reads warm rather than loud — the yellow is muted and sandy, not a high-chroma school-bus yellow. In a smaller room it tends to make the walls feel sunlit. If your wall is already a saturated colour, hang it on the calmer wall so the print can do the work.
Does this work in portrait above a standard sofa?
A medium portrait sits comfortably above a two-seater or armchair, but above a three-seater sofa it can look a bit small on its own. For a longer sofa, either size up to large, or pair it with a smaller companion print to one side.
How recognisable are the plants — are these real species?
The shapes are stylised rather than botanically accurate. You can read a tall cactus, a prickly pear, a snake plant and what looks like a ZZ plant, plus a few flower stems. It's plant-loving rather than plant-identification, which is part of why it sits so easily in a styled room.
