How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the bright orange clash with a terracotta tile splashback?
No — the orange in the print is warmer and a touch more saturated than terracotta, but they sit in the same family. Keep some cream wall between the print and the tile so the eye has somewhere to rest, and the two will look intentional rather than competing.
Is this better above a worktop or on a dining wall?
Both work. Above a worktop it acts as a small focal point at counter height — keep clutter low so it reads. On a dining wall it can hang at eye level above a bench or sideboard. Avoid hanging it directly behind a busy open shelf.
Does the painterly, slightly wobbly brushwork still feel grown-up?
Yes. The shapes are simple and confident rather than childish — the wobble is in the edges and the single thumb-print stone, not in the overall composition. It reads as a modern still life, not a nursery piece, and sits comfortably alongside oak, stoneware and linen.
