How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the olive stripes clash with a sage green kitchen?
The stripes are a soft, dusty olive rather than a true green, so they sit happily next to sage cabinets or sage walls. If your green is very bright or yellow-toned, hang the print on a cream or off-white wall instead to give it a little breathing room.
Does it work on its own or do I need a set?
It holds a wall on its own, especially in a small spot between cupboards or above a nook. It also looks lovely as part of a set of two, three or four herb studies in the same style — basil, rosemary, thyme and sage are natural companions.
Is it too cottagey for a modern kitchen?
The black engraved linework keeps it from feeling overly sweet, so it sits well in modern shaker and transitional kitchens too. If your kitchen is very sleek and glossy, it will read more cottage than you might want — better suited to painted, matte or wood-led schemes.
