How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the pale blue background read as nearly white from across the room?
Yes, from a few metres away the background reads as a soft, cool off-white. The blue striped towel and the chair's shadow carry the contrast, so the piece still registers on a pale wall — but it's deliberately quiet rather than punchy.
Is this suitable for a steamy bathroom?
Framed art prints behind acrylic glazing handle bathroom humidity well, and canvas is generally fine away from direct shower spray. Avoid hanging it directly above a shower head or on a wall that gets regularly soaked, and you'll have no issues in a normal family bathroom.
Does the towel motif make this feel too literal for a non-bathroom room?
Not really. The subject reads more as a quiet still life than a bathroom illustration — a chair on a porch, a towel left over the back. It works just as well in a bedroom or entryway as it does next to a bath.
