How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the 'Year of the Horse' script easy to read from across the room?
The script line sits at the base of the print and reads softly rather than as a headline — close up you can clearly see 'Year of the Horse', from a few metres away it reads as a graceful line of script under the horse. It's a quiet detail, not a slogan.
Will the cool blue clash with a warm-toned room?
It can. The blue is deep and cool, and rooms built around terracotta, mustard and warm reds will fight it a little. It's happiest against off-white, cream, soft greens or stone — anywhere a piece of blue-and-white china would already feel at home.
Is the pattern too busy for above a bed?
Above a bed it depends on your bedding. With plain white or pale linen bedding it works beautifully as the room's one pattern. With patterned bedding, a headboard with detail, or a busy rug, it'll start to compete — better in a hallway or study in that case.
