How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the dusty pink-brown background clash with cool grey walls?
It will read warmer than the rest of a cool-grey room, which is usually the problem. The background is a soft pink-brown, not neutral, so it sits much more comfortably against warm white, plaster pink, soft clay or sage walls. On cool greys it can feel a bit isolated rather than integrated.
Does the figure feel intense to live with day to day?
The face is painted in a flat, illustrative style rather than photorealistic, so it reads as character rather than a real person watching you. Most buyers find it sits comfortably in a living room or bedroom. If you prefer art with no human gaze at all, this isn't the one.
Is it better above a sofa or above a bed?
Both work. Above a sofa it acts as the room's focal point and pairs well with a low linen seat and a side lamp. Above a bed, hang it slightly higher than eye level so the figure sits over the headboard rather than feeling crowded by pillows. Avoid stacking it with other portraits.
