How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Does this read as a kids' print or can it work in an adult kitchen?
Both, comfortably. The textured, hand-drawn finish and muted palette keep it from feeling purely childlike. In a kitchen with painted timber, linen and warm brass it reads as a piece of personality rather than a nursery print, while still being friendly enough for a child's room.
Will the mustard yellow clash with a sage or soft blue kitchen?
No — the yellow is small in area and warm rather than bright, so it sits comfortably next to sage greens, soft blues and off-whites. It's closer to a baked-pastry yellow than a hi-vis one, which is why it works well with chalky paint colours.
How much wall space does it need?
At a medium size, give it at least 60 cm of clear wall width and a bit of breathing room around it. The composition has a clear focal point, so it doesn't need a busy background — a simple painted wall or a quiet section above a dresser or console is ideal.
