How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the writing on the print readable from across the room?
The title at the top reads clearly from a few steps back. The smaller hand-lettered labels — strawberry sauce, chopped nuts, fresh berries — are designed to be read up close. It works well in spots where people pass by or sit nearby, like a breakfast nook or kitchen wall, rather than the far end of a long room.
Will the red tones clash with a warm-toned kitchen?
The red here is soft and slightly warm rather than bright pillarbox red, so it sits comfortably with cream, oak, terracotta tile and warm brass. It tends to clash more with cool greys or stark all-white modern kitchens, where the warmth can look out of place. In warm kitchens it acts as a friendly accent.
Does it work outside the kitchen?
Yes. Dining rooms, breakfast nooks and family hallways all suit it. The recipe-card feel reads as cheerful rather than literal, so it doesn't need to live by the cooker. It can also work in a café, ice cream parlour or a child's play kitchen wall, where the sundae motif feels right at home.
