How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Does the lilac in this print read as pink or blue on the wall?
It sits firmly on the cool side. The lilac leans more towards blue than pink, with hints of warm cream behind the title. On a true off-white wall it reads as soft and dusty rather than candy or rosy, which is why it works well alongside pale oak, linen and brushed nickel.
Will it look too quiet in a larger living room?
On its own above a smaller sofa or console, yes — it can feel slight. Either size up to a larger format so the misty water has presence, or pair it in a gallery wall of three or four soft museum posters. As a supporting piece in a quiet, layered room it earns its place.
Does the museum poster layout suit modern interiors as well as traditional ones?
Yes. The clean title and subtitle, plus the generous off-white border, give it a contemporary gallery feel. It sits as easily in a Scandinavian or organic-modern bedroom as it does in a more traditional hallway with antique woods and softer textiles.
