El dorado pide luz natural. Ese rojo profundo luce con fuerza sobre una pared verde oscura o de yeso, donde una versión pequeña se perdería como una postal. Por debajo de 80 cm, la serpiente y el cuenco se difuminan en el conjunto y la pieza pierde presencia. Deja el resto de la pared despejado y permite que un pasillero de lana liso recoja el rojo. En un pasillo estrecho, la misma regla: una pieza alta, colgada un poco baja, sin nada al lado. En papel de bellas artes, los dorados se leen como color plano; un marco dorado les devuelve el brillo.

    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    ¿Qué altura debería elegir para un rellano de escalera?

    ¿Funcionará el rojo sobre una pared blanca?

    ¿Por qué los bordes parecen recortados?

    Porque Hygieia es un detalle. Estaba en la base de una pintura de techo mucho mayor llamada Medicina, rodeada por una columna de figuras flotantes, y los fragmentos de pelo y brazos de los lados pertenecen a ellas. El recorte es la forma en que la obra se ha reproducido desde principios del siglo XX, y el formato alto es consecuencia de ese encuadre.
