How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will a single line drawing look too small on a large wall?
It can, if the surrounding wall is busy. The trick is to give it generous empty space on either side and hang it at eye level — the negative space is part of the piece. On a very large wall, size up to a large or statement size, or pair it with one or two other quiet line drawings rather than crowding it.
Is this comfortable to hang in a bedroom shared with guests or family?
It's a nude figure study, drawn with restraint rather than realism, so it reads as art rather than something explicit. Most owners hang it in main bedrooms or studies. If your home regularly hosts young children or you'd prefer to avoid nude work in shared spaces, this probably isn't the right piece.
What wall colour does it sit best against?
Off-white, chalky neutral, soft warm white or pale stone work best — they let the black ink linework do the talking. It also holds up well against a deeper warm grey or muted clay wall. Avoid hanging it on bold pattern or strong colour, which will fight the loose linework.
