How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the bright colour overwhelm a small room?
It's a confident piece, but small rooms can carry it well if the surrounding walls and furniture stay calm. Keep cushions, rugs and curtains in plain off-white, cream, navy or oak tones. Let the print be the one strong colour moment in the room rather than competing with patterned wallpaper or other bright accessories.
Does it need a frame, or will it work unframed?
It works both ways. A slim black frame sharpens the bold shapes and gives the colour a clean edge, which suits modern rooms. Unframed feels more relaxed and works in studios, creative spaces and bohemian rooms where you want the painterly feel to read straight off the paper.
What size should I order for above a sofa?
Go larger than you think. The composition has big curvy shapes and a single figure, so it needs room to breathe. Aim for a width around two-thirds of the sofa beneath it. A large or statement size at eye-level above the sofa will read clearly from across the room and feel intentional rather than undersized.
