How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the mustard yellow feel too strong in a calm room?
The mustard sits on one slope of the mountain, framed by sage green water, cream sky and soft white snow. It reads as a warm accent rather than a dominant colour, so it lifts a calm room without taking it over. If your room is already very neutral, the warmth will feel welcome rather than loud.
Does this work above a sofa or is it better as a smaller piece?
It works both ways. At medium size above a sofa, console or bed it acts as a soft focal point — the mountain peak gives the eye somewhere to land. At smaller sizes it slots nicely into a 2 or 3 piece cluster with quieter botanicals or organic abstracts in the same earthy palette.
What wall colour suits it best?
Cream, soft off-white, warm chalky neutrals and very pale sage all work well. The painted shapes have enough contrast to stand out without needing a dark wall. Strong cool greys or bright white gloss walls can fight the warm mustard and terracotta — a softer, warmer wall lets the colours settle.
