How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the whippet's coat actually warm-toned, or does it read more grey in person?
The coat reads as warm sandy cream with soft brown shadows and a pale chest — there's no cool grey in the dog itself. The cooler tones in the picture sit in the sage and oat background, not the whippet. On a warm-painted wall it will look noticeably honeyed; on a cool grey wall it can feel slightly more muted but still warm.
Will it work in a room that already leans quite green?
Yes, as long as the green is muted — sage, olive, soft eucalyptus or grey-green all sit happily with the background tones. Avoid pairing it with bright emerald or saturated forest walls, which will fight the soft sage and make the whippet's coat look washed out rather than warm.
Does it need to be hung alone, or can I build a small gallery wall around it?
Both work. Solo, it makes a clear vertical anchor above a console or sofa. In a small cluster of two or three, keep companions quieter — loose botanicals, a soft landscape or a minimal line piece in oat and sage tones. Avoid pairing it with another strong portrait, as the two will compete for attention.
