How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Why is the dog facing away from the viewer?
The back-of-the-head pose is the whole point of this piece. It reads as quiet loyalty — the dog watching something with you, not posing for a camera. If you want full eye contact with the dog, this isn't the one. If you want a portrait that feels like company in the room, it is.
Will the warm browns clash with cool grey walls?
They sit fine against cool greys, but the print will feel warmer and a touch heavier than the wall around it. If your room is firmly cool — blue-greys, icy whites — the print will pull attention rather than blend. On sage, cream, off-white or warm grey walls it settles in much more naturally.
Is this readable from across a large room?
The silhouette is strong and the contrast between dog and backdrop is clear, so it reads well from a sofa or hallway distance. The painterly detail and signature only resolve close up, which is part of the appeal — you keep finding more in it the nearer you stand.
