How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
How readable is the blue text from across a room?
Very readable. The bright blue sits at high contrast against the warm rust dress and deep background, so the phrase reads cleanly from a couple of metres away. Up close you can see the hand-painted brush edges, which keep it feeling like art rather than a flat graphic.
Will the bright blue clash with a warm-toned room?
It actually works well against warm rooms. The blue is the single cool note against rust, deep brown-green and gold, so it pops rather than fights. Where it gets tricky is in rooms already built on cool greys or pale blues — there the blue stops feeling like a deliberate accent.
Is the woman's face partly covered by the text?
No — the text sits across her dress and arms, below the chin. Her face, raised fan and hand gesture all stay visible, so the portrait still reads as a portrait. The quote acts like a caption rather than a censor bar.
