Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

No — the cream ground takes up most of the picture, so the coral and blue read as bright accents rather than a solid colour block. Against off-white walls and cream or oat furniture, the piece adds energy without making the room feel loud. Give it clear wall space and keep nearby cushions and rugs quiet.

A large portrait size around 70–90 cm wide sits well above most three-seater sofas, leaving a comfortable margin at each end. The gestural brushwork needs a bit of breathing room, so aim for the artwork to span roughly two-thirds of the sofa width — not edge to edge. Statement scale works if the wall is genuinely tall.

It can, but carefully. If your sofa, rug and cushions are all patterned, this piece will start competing rather than leading. It's happiest against plain painted walls with mostly solid upholstery, so the loose brushwork stays the loudest thing in the room. One patterned rug is fine — patterned wallpaper behind it is not.
