Les cadres de lit en fer noir sont difficiles à habiller : leur barreau sombre et austère met en défaut bien des œuvres, trop douces ou trop sages. Cette affiche, elle, répond avec caractère. Le cheval, d’un noir mat comme le lit, crée un ensemble volontaire et cohérent, tandis que le rose poudré du fond réchauffe le mur sans jamais tomber dans le sucré. Suspendez-la en grand format, autour de 100 cm de large, pour que le cheval couvre toute la longueur de la tête de lit. Linge de lit en coton blanc, un coussin rouge si vous y tenez, aucun motif rayé. Un chapeau jaune fera le reste. Dans une chambre d’enfant, la même astuce fonctionne au-dessus d’un lit superposé en métal noir, accroché assez bas pour que l’enfant voie le cavalier depuis l’oreiller. Encadrée en bois noir, l’affiche renforce encore le lien avec le lit et affirme une présence graphique, nette et moderne.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Le fond rose va-t-il disparaître sur un mur rose ?

Sur un mur blush ou rose poussiéreux, oui, le fond se fondra et il ne restera qu’un cheval flottant. Il ressort mieux sur un blanc cassé, un blanc crayeux ou un gris chaud très pâle, où le rose apparaît comme une vraie couleur. Un mur vert profond ou bleu marine fonctionne aussi et rend l’ensemble plus dramatique que ludique.

Quelle largeur choisir au-dessus d’un canapé trois places ?

Visez les deux tiers de la largeur du canapé, soit environ 120 cm pour un trois places standard. Le format 2:1 signifie qu’à cette largeur vous obtenez environ 60 cm de hauteur, ce qui s’insère joliment dans l’espace entre le dossier du canapé et le plafond. En dessous de 80 cm, le format large commence à ressembler à une bande plutôt qu’à une image.

Est-ce trop enfantin pour un salon ?

Cela se lit comme un clin d’œil plutôt que comme une affiche de chambre d’enfant. Les couleurs restent contenues au rose, noir, un rouge et une touche de jaune, et le dessin se rapproche davantage d’un poster moderne que d’un livre d’images. Dans une pièce sobre avec un canapé foncé et peu d’éléments aux murs, l’ensemble paraît réfléchi et un peu sec, ce qui est précisément l’idée.
