How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Le fond noir va-t-il assombrir une petite chambre ?

Moins qu’on ne l’imagine. Le noir reste contenu dans l’image, et les carreaux blancs renvoient la lumière, donc l’effet est plus proche d’un tapis affirmé que d’un mur sombre. Gardez le mur derrière en blanc ou gris pâle et la pièce reste lumineuse. C’est sur un mur peint foncé qu’elle paraît plus lourde, donc réservez-la à un mur clair.

Quelle largeur choisir au-dessus d’un lit double ?

Visez environ 100 cm de large, ce qui correspond aux deux tiers centraux d’une tête de lit double standard. Plus petit, le chat ressemble à une bande plutôt qu’à une image, et le lit donne l’impression de porter un badge. Montez à 120 cm pour un lit king size. Accrochez-la à une largeur de main au-dessus de la tête de lit pour que l’ensemble forme un seul bloc.

Le rose se voit-il dans la pièce, ou est-il trop discret ?

C’est une touche légère, pas un thème. De loin, on voit d’abord le noir et blanc, puis le rose, aux oreilles et dans les galets du bas. Il est donc facile de le rappeler avec un coussin ou un pied de lampe. Ajoutez davantage de rose que cela et l’image commence à ressembler à un élément de décor plutôt qu’à la pièce maîtresse.
