Utagawa Kuniyoshi a créé cette image pour faire sourire. Offrez-lui un mur sans concurrence visuelle. Retirez les petits cadres autour. Laissez la tablette en dessous à moitié vide. Place idéale : carrelage blanc ou enduit sobre derrière la table à manger, accrochée à hauteur des yeux, là où l’on s’assoit et l’on discute. L’orange passé révèle toute sa force sur des murs clairs et du bois brut : évitez donc tout mur d’accent peint dans une teinte plus chaude que le blanc cassé. Écartez stores à motifs et vaisselle chargée du même champ visuel. Une image, un mur. La pièce doit donner l’impression d’une seule bonne idée, assumée jusqu’au bout. Si un deuxième tableau vous tente, placez-le en face, jamais à côté. Imprimée sur papier beaux-arts premium ; un cadre noir simple souligne le trait sans ajouter une deuxième idée.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

L’orange risque-t-il de jurer avec une cuisine qui a déjà des tons chauds ?

Cela dépend de la quantité d’orange déjà présente. Avec du chêne, du frêne, du crème ou du blanc, il rayonne et paraît intentionnel. Avec du carrelage terracotta, des meubles orange brûlé ou un mur couleur rouille, il perd de sa force et les deux oranges se disputent. Si votre cuisine est déjà chaude, accrochez-le sur le mur le plus blanc possible et gardez les surfaces proches sobres.

Quelle taille convient le mieux sur un mur de salle de bain ?

Dans une petite salle de bain ou des toilettes, 40 à 50 cm de côté suffisent. On le regarde de près, souvent à un mètre, et les contours comme les yeux ressortent parfaitement à cette taille. Réservez 70 cm et plus à une grande salle de bain familiale ou à une cuisine où l’on le voit de l’autre côté de la pièce. Accrochez-le à hauteur des yeux debout, pas au-dessus des toilettes.

Convient-il à une chambre d’enfant ?

Pour des enfants d’environ six ans et plus, oui. Les yeux fixes comiques, les tentacules et le chat en kimono sont le genre de chose qui amuse les enfants sans fin, et l’orange s’accorde très bien avec les couleurs primaires et les jouets en bois. Pour une chambre de bébé, c’est un peu intense, car le regard large peut paraître dérangeant dans une pièce sombre la nuit.
