La plupart des chambres gardent un mur nu pendant des années : celui derrière le lit, trop long pour un format carré unique et trop bas pour une pièce verticale. Une large affiche paysage règle le problème. Accrochée à 100 cm de large, la palette d’oliviers se place à une main au‑dessus de la tête de lit et l’ensemble du mur paraît enfin abouti. Les touches corail des roses réchauffent le linge de lit en lin sans exiger de coussins assortis. Gardez la teinte du mur douce — blanc cassé crayeux ou enduit chaud — pour que les montagnes grises reculent comme une vue de fenêtre. Une lampe de chaque côté, et laissez le reste du mur respirer. Dans une chambre exposée au nord, les verts tiennent mieux leur couleur que la plupart, car toute la scène penche vers des tons chauds. Dans une pièce baignée de soleil, le chemin s’illumine en fin de journée. Sur papier, un cadre en bois brun lui donne la finition d’un tableau ancien.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Les verts olive fonctionneront-ils avec un canapé gris ?

Cela dépend du gris. Un canapé gris chaud ou greige s'accorde très bien avec elle, car les bruns et le kaki de la colline partagent cette chaleur. Un canapé gris bleuté froid tire dans l'autre sens et les verts finissent par paraître ternes. Si votre canapé est froid, ajoutez des coussins avoine ou rouille et le tableau retrouve son équilibre.

Quelle largeur choisir au-dessus d'un lit king size ?

Une tête de lit king size mesure environ 150 cm de large, donc visez une image couvrant entre deux tiers et trois quarts de cette largeur, soit environ 100 à 120 cm. En dessous, les montagnes perdent leur échelle et le mur paraît inachevé de chaque côté. Laissez environ 20 cm entre le haut de la tête de lit et le bord inférieur.

Est-ce trop traditionnel pour une pièce moderne ?

Le sujet est classique dans le meilleur sens du terme, mais le format large et la palette douce l'empêchent de paraître daté. Dans une pièce moderne, gardez le mur simple et chaud, utilisez un cadre épuré et laissez-le être la seule image sur ce mur. Sur des lignes nettes, le geste ample apparaît détendu plutôt que chargé.
