Associez-la à un bois clair, du linge de lit en lin, des plaids en laine et une céramique mate crème ou pierre. Gardez les surfaces autour épurées. À éviter : l’encombrer de motifs forts, de blocs de couleurs vives ou d’accents dorés lourds, et ne pas la cacher derrière des lampes ou des plantes hautes. Elle a besoin d’air de chaque côté pour se lire comme apaisante, pas petite. En version toile, les lavis restent plus doux et mats, sans reflets sous les lampes de chevet.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Cela peut arriver si vous choisissez un format trop petit. Sur un grand mur, optez pour les plus grandes tailles, ou associez-la à une ou deux aquarelles plus discrètes pour que le fond pâle devienne un espace respirant partagé. Sur un mur plus étroit, d’environ 80 cm de large ou moins, un carré moyen s’intègre très bien seul avec de l’espace de chaque côté.

Est-ce que cela fonctionne dans une pièce qui n’est pas neutre ?
Oui, tant que la couleur du mur reste assez claire. Les murs gris doux, vert pâle, blanc chaud et bleu clair fonctionnent très bien, car les gris du héron les reprennent. Les murs très sombres aplatissent le fond crème, donc si vos murs sont bleu nuit ou charbon, une œuvre plus contrastée tiendra mieux.

Le héron est-il assez détaillé pour être visible de loin ?
Les ailes et le bec sont les formes les plus marquantes, donc l’oiseau se lit clairement à deux ou trois mètres. Les détails les plus fins, les ondulations à ses pieds et la réflexion à moitié peinte, n’apparaissent qu’en regardant de près. C’est ce mélange qui lui permet de convenir aussi bien à un passage fréquent qu’à un endroit où l’on s’assoit.
