How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Les tons gris paraîtront‑ils froids dans une pièce exposée au nord ?

Les gris ici sont réchauffés par le beige sable et le blanc cassé, ils ont donc tendance à paraître doux plutôt que froids même sous une lumière plus froide. Si votre pièce est déjà très bleu‑gris, l'ensemble restera discret et tonal ; associez‑le à du lin, du bois clair ou des textiles crème pour conserver la chaleur dans la pièce.

La barque est‑elle assez grande pour se lire sur le mur ?

La barque est petite mais constitue le seul point focal net du tableau, l'œil la repère donc facilement même de l'autre côté d'une pièce. En taille moyenne elle se lit clairement au‑dessus d'un lit ou d'une console ; si vous augmentez pour en faire une pièce maîtresse, l'espace négatif autour de la barque participe au calme plutôt que de sembler vide.

Cela fonctionne‑t‑il sans autres pièces côtières autour ?

Oui — elle tient un mur à elle seule et n'a pas besoin d'un thème marin autour d'elle pour avoir du sens. Elle s'intègre aussi dans un petit regroupement de deux ou trois pièces atténuées si vous souhaitez un mur de cadres plus doux.
