Trop de beige, pas assez de bleu éclatant ? Cette toile change tout. Accrochez-la dans une pièce neutre et tout le mur s'éclaire : le bleu se lit comme le ciel et l'eau, un bandeau rose pâle traverse le centre, et la petite voile jaune et turquoise guide le regard. Elle se prête au salon au-dessus d'un canapé bas, à un mur lumineux de cuisine, ou à un palier qui reçoit le soleil de l'après-midi. Autour, restez sobres : lin pâle, bois clair, rotin, céramiques blanches épurées. N'accumulez pas de motifs chargés à côté et oubliez le bois foncé et massif en dessous ; la pièce a besoin d'air et d'un mur dégagé. Sur toile, la touche libre affleure à la surface, comme une peinture tout juste sortie de l'atelier.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the bright blue overwhelm a small room?

Not usually. The blue is light rather than heavy, so it reads as daylight rather than a dark block. In a small room, go one size down and give it a plain wall with clear space either side. Keep the rest of the room quiet — plain cushions, simple ceramics — and it will feel bright rather than crowded.

Does the pink read as a girly colour?

It reads more like a painted sail than a soft pastel. It's a warm, chalky pink sitting against strong blue, with black lines and yellow nearby, so the overall effect is graphic and breezy. It works just as well in a study or a hallway as it does in a bedroom.

How close should you be able to stand to it?

It's built for a bit of distance. From two or three metres the sails and figures snap into a clear sailing scene. Up close you mostly see brushmarks, crayon lines and scraped paint, which is part of the appeal, but a long view is where it works hardest — so avoid a tight corner.
