Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

The blues are muted rather than icy, and the soft grey trunk and off-white background warm the overall feel. It sits comfortably next to oak, linen and warm whites without making the room feel cold. If your room leans very warm with terracotta or mustard, the print will read as a gentle cool counterpoint rather than a clash.

The leaves are painted in loose, layered brushmarks rather than tight detail, so the canopy reads as one soft blue shape from a normal viewing distance. Step closer and you'll see individual strokes and tonal shifts, but the overall impression stays calm and uncluttered — better suited to quiet rooms than busy gallery walls.

A large square sits well centred above a standard three-seat sofa, leaving roughly a hand's width to half a hand's width of wall on either side of the artwork. The wide canopy needs that breathing room to read as one confident shape. Smaller sizes can get lost against a longer sofa.
