How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Zullen de warme grijzen en groentinten botsen met een koel blauwgrijs interieur?

Ze kunnen er modderig uitzien tegen koel blauwgrijze muren. Het palet neigt naar warm — diep dennegroen, warme houtskool en zacht crème — dus het komt het beste tot zijn recht tegen gebroken wit, poederig stucwerk, zachte steentinten of warm beige. Als je kamer duidelijk koeltintig is, probeer dan eerst een warmer accenttextiel in de buurt voordat je besluit.

Werkt het vierkante formaat boven een brede bank?

Ja, als je kiest voor een grotere maat. Ga voor een groot vierkant boven een driezitsbank en laat aan beide kanten een vrije marge in plaats van te proberen de hele span te vullen. Het leest als één zelfverzekerd anker. Voor zeer lange banken combineer je het met één smal verticaal stuk aan de zijkant in plaats van een ander landschap uit te rekken.

Is de sfeer te donker voor een lichte, zonnige kamer?

Nee — het palet is geaard maar niet donker. De warme lucht en crème reflectie tillen het op, dus het houdt zich goed in een lichte, zuidgerichte kamer en voorkomt dat de ruimte eentonig aanvoelt. Vermijd langdurig direct zonlicht en het zal rustig in plaats van zwaar ogen.
