How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Is het glinsterende watereffect nog zichtbaar op kleinere formaten?

De kleine penseelstreken zorgen dat dit werk als echt water aanvoelt, en ze komen het beste uit op middelgrote en grotere formaten waar het oppervlak je blikveld kan vullen. Op kleinere formaten vlakt het rimpel-effect iets af en gaat het meer lezen als één zachte groene was. Als je de muurruimte hebt: kies een grotere maat.

Gaat dit botsten met meubels van warmgekleurd hout?

Het palet is koel — zacht groen, duifgrijs en nevelig blauw — maar het is gedempt genoeg om goed te staan naast licht eiken, essen en warme crèmetinten. Het zijn juist donker walnoot en zwaar mahonie die eronder te zwaar kunnen gaan aanvoelen. Als je kamer neigt naar warm en donker, hang het dan aan een lichte muur zodat het kan ademen.

Is de compositie te leeg voor een hoofdmuur?

Het is een rustige compositie, maar geen lege. Het hele oppervlak is bewerkt met kleine penseelstreken, en de donkere oever rechtsboven geeft je oog een plek om te rusten. Op een hoofdmuur leest het als een doordacht, kalmerend middelpunt in plaats van een decoratief opvulstuk — het komt het beste tot zijn recht met wat ruimte eromheen.
