Het voegt geen drukte toe. Het is losse, handgeschilderde spanning op de juiste plekken. Strepen, stippen en zigzagpatronen staan naast elkaar in petrol, zachtroze, mosterd en crème, met langs de bovenrand een geschilderde kwastenrand als knipoog naar geweven textiel. Aan de muur krijgt een vlakke wand meteen diepte. Kleur, textuur en een beetje karakter komen binnen zonder dat de ruimte druk wordt. Mooist boven een lage bank, een kinderbed, een console in de gang of als vrolijke onderbreking aan de keukenmuur. Combineer met licht eiken, rotan, zacht linnen en warme crèmekleurige muren. Hang het niet naast iets met scherpe randen of zware geometrie — dit canvas wil de aandacht trekken.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Does the busy pattern make a small room feel smaller?

Not really — the cream ground takes up over half the picture, so the eye gets places to rest. In a small room, hang it solo on the wall with the most light, keep nearby surfaces plain, and avoid stacking it with patterned cushions or rugs directly underneath.

Is the tasselled border at the top actually fringe or is it painted?

It's painted. The piece is an abstract study of a textile, so the tassels along the top edge are brushwork, not real thread. That means no fraying, no shadow line, and it sits flat on the wall like any other print.

Will the teal and mustard fight with a pink-painted wall?

It depends on the pink. A dusty, chalky pink wall works well — the teal stays as the lead and the mustard warms it through. A bright bubblegum or hot pink wall will compete with the print's own pink stripes, so a cream or off-white wall is the safer call.
