Over dit kunstwerk
Ga voor groot. Op 70 x 70 cm trekt de rode octopus meteen de aandacht en verandert een kale badkamerwand in een statement. Kleiner oogt al snel als een prentenboekpagina – prima voor de kinderkamer, minder geslaagd elders. Teal komt het mooist uit tegen witte tegels of een kalkachtig off‑white; dan voelt het als water in plaats van een kleurkeuze. Houd handdoeken en badmat off‑white of navy, zodat het rood in het beeld blijft. In de woonkamer verdient dit werk in zijn eentje de plek boven een grijze bank, zonder gezelschap, met de onderrand op een handbreedte boven de rugkussens. Die schaal maakt het verschil. De canvas is opgespannen op een houten frame en wordt klaar om op te hangen geleverd.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Botst het rood met mijn badkamertegels?

Op witte, off-white of lichtgrijze tegels voelt hij zich helemaal thuis, en de teal leest daar als water. Naast warme terracotta-, roze- of koraaltegels werkt hij minder goed, omdat de twee roodtinten dan concurreren. Donker marineblauw of antraciet tegelwerk werkt verrassend goed, omdat het rood eruit springt en de teal naar de achtergrond verdwijnt. Houd handdoeken wit of marineblauw en de poster doet de rest.

Welk formaat moet ik kiezen voor een kinderkamer?

Ga groter dan de kamer misschien doet vermoeden. Een medium of grote vierkante maat, met het midden op ooghoogte van een kind opgehangen, wordt dat ene beeld waar ze vanuit bed naar kijken. Kleine formaten verdwijnen tussen speelgoed en boeken. Heeft de kamer een lage speelgoedkist of boekenkast, hang hem daar direct boven met een handbreedte muur ertussen en laat die rest van de muur leeg.

Werkt dit in een woonkamer of is het echt een badkamerposter?

Hij werkt prima in een woonkamer als de rest van de ruimte rustig van kleur is. Boven een grijze of off-white bank, groot opgehangen, draagt het rood de hele muur en hoeft niets anders te concurreren. Kies kussens in marineblauw of effen wit en vermijd rode of oranje textiel. In een kamer met veel patroon of warme kleur zal hij eerder om aandacht vechten dan de leiding nemen.
