Iedere woning heeft zo’n lastige wand: smal, hoog, geverfd en daarna vergeten. Geef ’m dit canvas. De rechte steel van de rubberplant leidt het oog omhoog, precies passend op een smalle strook. De roze pleistermuur combineert moeiteloos met wit en off‑white. Mosterdgeel onderaan geeft warmte aan een lichte traploper. De saliegroene bladeren sluiten mooi aan bij kamerplanten bij het raam. Hang het 80 cm hoog of hoger, zodat de volle lengte vanaf de onderste trede tot zijn recht komt. Eén canvas, niets ernaast, en de overloop voelt niet langer als een gang maar als een doordachte ruimte. Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?
Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.
You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.
How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Botst het roze met magnolia- of crèmewanden?
Nee, het roze hier is stoffig en neigt naar bruin, dichter bij oud pleisterwerk dan bij een verfkleur. Op magnolia of crème leest het als warmte in plaats van kleur, en de salieblaadjes geven het oog ergens koel om te rusten. Alleen tegen sterke roze- en terracottatinten dicht bij de eigen ondergrond heeft het moeite, omdat de randen van het beeld dan wegvallen.
Kan het op een overloop zonder natuurlijk licht?
Ja, en het is juist een van de betere keuzes daarvoor. De mosterdkleurige vloer en terracottapot houden hun warmte onder een gewone warmwitte lamp, en de lichte roze ondergrond kaatst het weinige licht terug de trap op. Vermijd een koel daglichtlampje, dat het roze grijs maakt. Eén wandlamp schuin van boven doet al genoeg.
Werkt het als paar aan weerszijden van een deuropening?
Ja, mits ze precies even hoog hangen en de deur ertussen rustig is. De opgaande steel geeft aan beide kanten een sterke verticale lijn die de opening omlijst, een beetje als een paar echte planten zonder het water geven. Houd ze minstens 60 cm van de lijst zodat het deurbeslag de potten niet verdringt.
